ExceleTel TeleScope has become an industry standard TAPI discovery, diagnostic, and testing utility. TeleScope allows you to both monitor and control a TAPI-compliant telephony device through a graphical user interface. Events and changes of state are logged using the event, method and property names of the TeleTools development environment. Both TAPI line and phone devices are exposed and may be controlled simply by entering data (such as a phone number for dialing) and clicking buttons in the extensive user interface.

Wave play and record capabilities are also included so that you may fully investigate TAPI devices that include wave drivers. This allows for early and easy validation that your device will support applications such as IVR, voice message delivery, voice mail, auto-attendant, etc.

For most testing and troubleshooting, TeleScope provides an excellent alternative to Microsoft's difficult to use and understand TAPI Browser utility.

For the PC on which it is installed, TeleScope will also enable the logging and troubleshooting capabilities built into applications that use the ExceleTel TeleTools telephony development components.

TeleScope licenses are valid for one year from the date of issue. A license is required for each PC on which you wish to install TeleScope. Several types of licensing options are available.

• The per Install license is for installation on a single OS instance (on a physical or virtual machine).
• The per Site license allows many installations at a single physically contiguous site within a single organization.
• The for TeleTools Developers license allows holders of a currently active royalty free TeleTools license to redistribute TeleScope (up to 1000 installs) in conjunction with a TeleTools enabled application (you may not resell these TeleScope licenses).
